Maven's founders Özlem and Ayça have two very good friends, with a big question in their minds; "Why not…?" Thanks to their production experience in family businesses, they realized that it is possible to offer luxury and quality at affordable prices in the leather goods market. For this reason, they decided to create a fashionable brand that offers luxury and quality together. And they created Maven with the vision of designing versatile and timeless bags that could occur in various situations. According to a dictionary, a maven is a reliable expert in a particular field and tries to convey timely and relevant information to others in the relevant field. They called the brand “Maven” because it was one of the oldest leather goods producers in the city, which it really reflects the origin of the brand. The founders have carried traditional methods in production as well as 40 years of family business experience in order to create high quality parts by using real leather and materials. Each bag is produced by handcraft by the best craftsmen in the heart of Istanbul.
